It is still my understanding that Stock modules cannot be sold, or modules that directly connect you to you next higher tier plane, leaving all other modules sellable, unfortunately this is still not the case, after so long in raising this issue, just when is this going to get finalised? one example, engines on the Me 262 HG II, After you buy and mount the 3rd engine (Jumo 004E) the 2nd engine ( Jumo 004 C) should become sellable, well it does not and this is not an isolated case, it is ad hoc across the range, in truth this has gone on for a long time and it is just not fair, when it is all buy buy and no sell.

Once again can this be resolved.

I never really looked into that, but it's strange ... first I thought maybe you could not sell engines (or modules in general) that also could be used on planes you hadn't researched yet.

For instance the 004C also fits in the Ta 183 which I haven't researched yet. But I can't sell the Jumo 004A while I have all the planes that share this engine.

it's a good point, but at this stage of the game's life I can't see that ever being fixed.

Stock modules indeed cannot be sold, but it is not the issue to be resolved. It's a design decision, implemented to make repurchasing Specialized aircraft possible.

So...in order to repurchase a specialised aircraft you have to have ALL the modules for that plane in your depot despite the fact specialised aircraft can only mount the top modules?

Am I the only one who thinks that makes little sense?

Its always been an ill-thought out credit sink.

To be fair, I think the WoWP team back in the day intended to work on 'specialisation 2.0' and perhaps then the lower modules might have been needed.
