Why does WoWP play need clans? For WOT all clear-battles, but here?

Hi Ato_sato,

Well, its about to be in a community with other pilots, meet each other, talk in voice chats, share content, fly together, have fun, aso.

I enjoy to be in a clan.

You're right, though strictly that isn't an answer to the question regarding the purpose of clans with respect to the game specifically.  The answer is, as you say, nothing to do with the game at all, at least not directly; it's about the social activity.  With that said, if you're having to ask people to come and socialise with you...

There is one very good reason for joining a clan that I can see.  If the clan has good players these can teach the less experienced ones.  However, good pilots do not necessarily make good teachers (I learned far less than I expected from one of the best players in the game, for instance) and, of course, some don't want to share their tips and tricks.  It's not as if there's any game-related point in improving the abilities of your clan mates since the game has no clan content.

Why does WoWP need clans or why join a clan ppl ask? Read the MM threads and the answer is pretty obvious. It get's pretty annoying to invest 15 minutes of time into a battle, keep dropping in 12-20k+ personal points and come away with a loss simply because you got the team of useless bots that can't turn a simple garrison right next to their spawn for the entire battle or crayon eating human players that regardless of being top tier and with a specialized fighter, can't crack 3k personal or kill more that 3 airplanes for the entire battle.

Now, make that frustrating experience several battles in a row, a loss streak because of this horse shiiiiii and suddenly clans make a lot of sense. To be able to negate a lot of those needlessly lost battles in which you just needed someone else with a bit of sense to help out on the other side of the map where you can't be is great. Sure, there's still going to be one sided losses regardless but that's acceptable when the battles that should be won are won. To be able to log into Discord, form a flight, be able to talk with each other throughout the battle, it makes things a lot less frustrating and it's also fun... and of course just shooting the breeze with some other guys playing games is good fun and chill out too, especially with the Covid-19 bs right now.

I still play a lot of battles solo and don't always use discord but it's certainly a nice outlet to have. All good. :)
