Looks interesting and some nice rewards to play for.
I read the webpage but I couldn't establish if this is a separate stand-alone game mode or if it simply overlaps random battles where we just play a random battle with the required aircraft class and try to complete the missions?

Missions
During each phase you will have to complete:
- 3 personal missions for each aircraft type. You will earn gold and supply crates by completing the missions
- one global mission for all the players. Completing this mission will double the number of supply crates you've earned for completing personal missions.

Im still not sure i wasnt right. It appear those special two crates that we can buy are different from the other red unique crates that we can win every now and then, and possibly during this event too. So if the plane can only be won by buying crates with 750 gold and be lucky, might be the final nail in the coffin...

To add the Grumman F5F Skyrocketto your Hangar, you need to execute missions from the special operation order. You can receive this order from supply crates available in the Supply Service for 750 gold. You can also receive it as a reward for completing the personal combat missions within the Crimson Dawn event.

Is it better till the end of the event(in December) to open the crates?
or will they disappear after each stage?
Does it make any difference to open it now or later?

Fun mode this one: if you attack you win; if you defend you lose = best players only on flights with bombers = even more probability of a lost game for the defending side.
Nice indeed, WG.
See u in a couple of days.

From main article:
…All the unopened prize supply crates will be converted to unique supply crates on December 18, 15:00 (CEST, UTC +1).
Difference is that you can have got the some premium planes which are not at unique supply crates or orders for Grumman F5F Skyrocket it now.

I had to give up this mission. It´s filled with lags, bugs and freeze. The most stressing ,tiring type of game since there are only 2 bases to fight for. Gaas are uselthe as AAs are extremely hard to crack. Gaas are in a postion to score as high PP as good fighters, but AA postions in this ame mode are 3 or 4 times stronger and fortified, means it takes the same amount of time and shooting efforts at gts.while being exposed to enemy fighters much and much longer. I´m afraid this game is based on a discrimination from the start this way. Hope this will never come back again in the future game. My personal wish, dear WG. thx.
ps: If WG can reduce strength of fortified AAs back to normal,I´d hope GAAs would be able to destroy more ground targets or an equivalent amount just like good fighters are kiliing as many planes as 30-40, with 40k +.
