Is it possible to finish part 2 of mission in second phase of event with multiroles?

Can you only fulfill this objective just by killing aa? because there are no bomber flights, or does normal bombers count as well?

 

I gave up on multiroles. It was even worse than the phase one, second mission of the heavy fighter mission, where you had to kill bombers and attack planes, but when you are attacking there were none.

 

Anyway, I find this event fun, with the failed objectives and all.

 

If wargaming could make a wowp players agains bots playing historic missions like battle of britain, or east front, or africa or whatever, I'd be a happy player. Players against bots would make teamplay and gameplay better for me, and other players too, I guess. Make bots hard as hell to beat, so players pay to get prem stuff, to make grind and train faster and easier (admit: faster grind, faster experience, faster credit, pay to skip training, prem camo, prem ammo = pay to win, no point trying to say it does not matter)

I dont care about all that, I have a fascination for old warplanes, and always was. If making interesting missions instead of capping bases where elited pros kills all noobs, I guess more people would play too. My guess.

MR missions, other than for gold, look impossible so I've avoided them in both game modes we've had. Lf and hf have been pretty straightforward, bombers were pretty easy apart from being ultra focused by bot hf. Didnt have time to try gaa beyond getting the gold.

Of what I'm seeing lots are sharing my feeling : missions for gold are OK but for the other it's look like complicate.

At the begenning I was wondering if the problem wasn't my skill because I have started the game two weeks ago but it appear that nope (maybe it still a part of the problem xD).

 

Also this second part of the event is less 'fun' than the bomber escort. Here it's more :

Defense : you have your team + AA + defense planes

Attack : Flying Circus in middle of defense planes + AA + other players

 

Note quiet balanced. If you have only two bombers in your team (attack) without any B17 it's very very difficult to win. By the other hand Attack planes are too exposed to make the difference.

 

Also it remain too many bots in both teams and nothing regarding balance between specialist in each team.

 

This last point is one of the more criticable point for new players like me. Very soon in the game since T1 I meet sealclubbers in specialized planes staying around spawn just to kill until your repsawn. Not really fair-play ....

Had 5 extra crates to open this morning. Dropped the Russian P40 and I-180-3 plus 600 gold from them.

Also collared 10 days premium and 100 gold in the first 5 crates I won during the event.

This is a war game. War is never fair-play but eventually you are right, I don't want to be in your shoes as a rookie, with all those sealclubbers around all the time. I think joining a clan and playing in flights as much as possible would be the right decision in your situation.

 

By the way, many of those sealclubbers are more or less just forced to do what they do, for the purpose of accomplishing their daily missions. The majority of them are only mediocre players if at all, even on low tiers.

This is a game, it should be as fair as possible. Hardly anoybody likes to be on disadvantages side, even it's promised to be made even by being on advantages side. Even are batter.

 

Sealclubbing and flights are a cancer of this game, and suggesting new players to join the cancer is counterproductive, because there will be more new players that will be thrown out by sealclubbing flights.

Think what you want. Joining a clan and playing in flights is a way to L2P faster. So what would you suggest to new players?

In order to do it with AA guns you basically have to accept that you won't contribute to the battle, which in the case of those battles where you are the only human on your team will absolutely result in lost battles. 

 

I've tried a few battles where I killed whatever AA I could reach before a sector flipped - and it's not much fun.

Hey Wargaming, could you do something with those rigged matches where 1 side has ABSOLUTELY USELESS PIECE OF *beeeeep* BOTS? It is hard to win if some of your bots are programmed to SUCK and LOSE. What next? Teamkiller kamikaze bots?

So the first event,  we all enjoyed.  I'm still trying to find someone who liked the second weekend and I can't find what is required exactly on the third.  Does anyone know exactly what  the 3rd phase of Crimson Dawn requires.,  I really hope it's not like last weekend's Crimson Yawn

I'd agree, join an Active clan that helps and advises newer players and teams up.  Crimson Dawn win rate improves if you have two planes complimenting each other and working together.

Stage III is the normal Conquest mode.

Oh , Pink is a very polite person. He had a very good upbringing and showers his friends with the kindest words while he also drinks tea and helps around his old land-lady with the trash.

Secondary missions seem a bit easier this week, just 40 kills over zones with mfs for example. Except perhaps HFs which require 150 kills!

No, i dont think that this is 100 points for 1 kill. I complete this mission in one battle (yes, I was lucky), For fighters with 10 000 points this take more time. Probably for HF is counted points for kill+damage and for fighters only kills.

I think 1 kill enemy plane is 400 points. For ADA and bombers is this less.

You had 40 kills defending/attacking sectors in one battle and didn't post in "Best games in 2.0" ... ?
