As suspected, being the weekend and all, with it's increased available gaming time for the average Bob gamer, I dare say the Global Mission will most likely be achieved this time and as such, I'm just giving a "heads up" to players so that they can benefit from the double containers it brings and as such, focus on bagging as many containers as they can before the 100% is reached.

Btw guys, I managed to bag an operation order for the F2F. Can I NOT activate this and just keep it for some other time? I'd rather focus on this rather fun Crimson Dawn missions and activate the F2F missions some time after this event ends.

 

If you don't activate it to 20.12.2020, you lose it.

So far I have been told that I got a +3 rear gunner TWICE

 

and twice I have checked and it's only a +1 gunner.

 

The rest has been scrap

Can you actually show us a screenshot where you actually won gold out of one? We can look at an article , we are not idiots. But same as raketak, i opened 8 chests and not a single gold, most were two stacks of useless materials. If they are bugged, i rather not play the event anymore except for those first missions that reward 100 gold, or keep the crates and open them after event is over and they are changed to regular unique crates.

Actually, giving away materials in an event like this is a bit like distributing condoms at a funeral. Its not what you came there for.

Well, looks not only me. We can keep crates and left them convert to unique:

All the unopened prize supply crates will be converted to
 unique supply crates on December 18, 15:00 (CEST, UTC +1).

It doubles the crates you recieve on the 2nd stage, not those recieved on 1st stage from thursday/friday. They are recieved after stage is over, probably tomorrow.

I have all planes from this event boxes, no need opening them, ill wait for convertion and try my luck from unique got last missing Ki-88

Playing heavy in escort bombers will not get you the 2nd mission ; kill bombers and attack a/c ... but they're all in your team  I can imagine when that happens 6 times in a row, you get just a bit frustrated.

Why do you think its full of quitters at start of every battle? Because people play for rewards not for the horrible event. A thing devs of every game will never learn. People will not waste time finishing battle when they cant/fail their objectives.
Side note: i did get 100 gold in one crate, so it works, even if it seems to be horrible odds. I did got 500 gold in one of the 3 green crates i got from the order

Indeed concerning objectives for the crates.  I'm now on my 7th battle in a heavy in a row on the attacking side...it's not that I need the crates, but the lack of logic amuses and irritates in equal measure.

HURRAH!  I had a battle where I could shoot down bombers...and my team let 10 of the first wave through before I could stop killing all the GAAs...jeepers.

The requirement was reduced from 400,000 units to 260,000, virtually guaranteeing completion.

we will see next time 400k vs 260 at weekend.  We can wait next wave about 300 - 350 k  my tip, maybe it was a little satisfaction after first phase.

 I know , it must be hard if you set this by eye, not about living population on servers

I don't think he was too unlucky for not getting gold. If we take a look at the actual likelihood, gold is the second lowest drop rate. In fact, most the things I would want are the rarest drops so I'm not going to open any more and just keep the ones I have until they get converted to unique crates which have things I'd prefer and with a higher drop rate for them.

 

Hindsight I'm only sorry I didn't check this before and wouldn't have opened any. All I got was inferior stuff compared to the unique crates and less amounts of it too. Were we supposed to be focused on getting the Operation Orders for the F5F and get all excited if and when we finally got one? Was that it? Personally I don't even want the aircraft lol. Don't get me wrong, I'd like it if it was a drop from the crate without the grindy order missions but others nahhhhhhhh.... not working my backside off trying to complete troll missions for something that would be €5 on discount and that I most likely wouldn't play all that much anyway. 

 

Pity there's such a wait before they get converted. It would have been nice to have the swap option immediately or at least straight after this event ends.
