You think, hmm... :] it is nice to know what You think, but I want to know how it really is.
Btw - You DID recieve another set of operation orders, that means if I open another crate, there could be another set. Why do You think there wont be any, if You recieved one before??? Does not make sense to me :]
So nice... so no clarification needed as you are a very smart guy knowing everything, even if you are not able to understand my answer.
Apparently you don't need answer but just somebody to blame.
Next, I pass my turn...
I find bomber escort a bit boring, but it's fine for two or three games and it would be good, though I realise probably beyond the WoWP team's resources to introduce, to have it in the game permanently to provide variety from endless Conquest battles, cf. standard, encounter and assault battles in World Of Tanks.
The WoWP team should consider returning the time lost on F5F Skyrocket missions to players who got stuck on the Flying Paladin requirement since this couldn't be obtained whilst the event episodes were running.

No, you cannot receive an extra Op Order if you've already got one.

The F2F mission were actually very achievable and all of them could be done during the Crimson Dawn runtime. If anything, it was arguably much easier to do during the event since generally there are lots of opportunities to tick the various mission requirement boxes. I just activated because I had time to play the Crimson Dawn event over the weekend to used the opportunity to get what I could from the F2F Ops too. Initially I was just looking for a few missions for free stuff but as it turned out most those missions were very achievable anyway so I actually ended up completing it and getting the ugly airplane.
Obviously it made sense to try and tie in those F2F missions with various class missions for the Crimson Dawn and that way focusing on one usually also took care of the other as a bi-product and made both feel far less grindy and even if the mission was not achieved, at least one or the other was most likely achieved or heavily contributed towards so was never really a feeling of annoyance because I got the attacking or defending side because I could still focus on the Crimson Dawn regardless.
Paladin was pretty easy to farm in CD event with a good strong LF or HF, so that was ok, probably easier to bag in CD than in normal battle mode, not sure but it wasn't hard in CD anyway, that's for sure. The15 kills in one battle mission, again, relatively easy in CD, ADA was included as kills and also it didn't require to be completed in one sortie( I think!) so that was relatively easy too, was lucky on the first attempt, same with Paladin. The final mission for the McGuire, that could be done in CD too but not sure if you could do it on the defending team? Anyway I spawned on the defending team a twice in a row(of course) and didn't bag it so, since the event was nearly over at that point and I wanted a break, I just waited for normal battle mode to resume after CD ended and that made it 100% possible to farm relatively easily since it doesn't matter what team you are on in normal battles.
The only thing that held me up with the McGuire, and it was totally my own fault, was I didn't read exactly what I needed to do. I just glanced "400 capture points" and got to it, but I failed to get it which surprised me since I did well over 400+ capture points. Then I noticed I have X amount of points for attacking and X amount of points for defending in that total figure so for the next battle I just focused on getting 400+ points exclusively for attacking sectors, but again, no cake. So I was like "What the F?" right? So I looked PROPERLY at the requirements this time and noticed it had to be done in a SINGLE SORTIE. Doh!.... anyway, with the knowledge I bagged it the very next mission. Just keep your nose clean, pick off ADA's, kill a few ground targets if you have bombs and keep out of trouble so far as possible as not to die and reset the contribution. It also doesn't matter if the points are gained for defending a sector so if you're top tier and feeling strong and good, take a garrison or whatever is close to an enemy spawn and just farm targets as they come in. Better to stay at the far side of the sector relative to the enemy approach and this way you won't have to risk taking too many shots, let your ADA catch those bots attention first, then roll in and kill them yourself, EZ PZ. Only thing that can really make this relatively easy mission drag on would be if the battle ends too fast or if some human player gets all up in your face for the entire battle, otherwise its not much of a problem so good luck with that.
Sadly I didn't like the special camo it came with. I don't know, you guys think its nice or ugly? I don't really like it, it's ok I guess, not really what I would go for.
and so instead I just went with that really nice base sky blue. Fine, no camo bonuses but whatever, if it looks nice I am happier to play it and if I'm happier to play it I play it better and more often.
Much the same as my P-38J left "naked" in it's nice sky blue base paint... along with some nice emblem and engine art of course.
Btw if needs be, it's only 2 tokens to add another 48hrs extension to a currently active F5F Ops if you're struggle with it or don't have the time which is only 1 token per day, and I'm sure you can bag 2 tokens with a few battles here and there.
If the gift camo would have been 20% crew training, I would have gone for it.
I had some gold from crates, so I got the seasonal camos. Always nice to have a bit of protection from AA and gunners.

The emblem DOES give 20% crew XP - first time I've seen that - BUT it's a gopping retro-Russki glamour-tart of the kind I don't want on my aircraft. I'll have to see if there's a kind forum member who can tell me how to change it for something slightly more couth. You may wish you'd gone for it, now that you know about the emblem-boost
Like TH, I was able to achieve the final goal a few days ago without having to buy certificates, which pleased me. Not sure that the aircraft was really worth the effort - I'll see what she's like when she's specialised. Hoping I can do something to make her a bit more effective in the gunnery department.
Only played the F2F twice so can't really comment accurately. I already knew from the stats it had weak dps and so that has proved to be the case which personally I don't really like in any aircraft but especially not a HF which are generally all about high dps and big cal guns. It flies well enough but if I can't kill off a target fast enough it does personally pis* me off. I guess it's this way to balance the "better than most" agility for a HF but tbh it's not mind blowing agile, in or around the same as the P-38 and Ki-45 sort of territory but both of those HF's have a strong 37mm cannon and good dps too. Ok, the cannons on the F2F don't overheat quickly but relative to the damage the deal, works out about the same but takes twice as long to deal the same amount of damage, if that makes sense? In other words, the big dps on other HF's will overheat in about half the time but they also deal the same amount of damage in half time it takes for the F2F to deal that same damage and it's a problem when you're getting shot in the face by the gunners on a bomber or have several targets need put down asap.
Certainly not a bad aircraft, nice to fly and capable, bombs reload fast which is nice but just not really my cup of tea in what I'd look for in a HF. I will play on with it however and it's a nice freebee none the less
