Just for TH:

is an F2F, whereas we're discussing the F5F

:honoring:

And Goner, as TH says, it doesn't really matter what WG put in their website description because the in-game prize version has the seasonal camos with the usual benefits, the red-and-blue scheme with the 5%XP plus the nose-marking with the usual 3% and the emblem with 20%, ALL marked as 'received as gift'.

Really happy with that, I think the mistaken identity of the aircraft designation perfectly surmises my level of interest in the aircraft from the very start lol.

Also, for argument sake, if you're going to correct me on the topic about a WoWP F5F then at least use an image of the WoWP F5F and not a real world photo of what's accurately known as the XF5F, which like all prototype experimental aircraft, remain an X designated aircraft, until they see production, which the XF5F did not, therefore that's not a photo of an F5F, which is a WoWP fantasy aircraft including it's featured twin 23mm cannons it never had and it's 4X100lb bombs it never carried. In fact, the real world XF5F never had any guns at all but was proposed to carry 4 12.7mm machine guns and a couple of 75KG bombs. :great:

€26 for an aircraft, assuming you need 140 certs to complete the missions, that will be in the premium shop for less than €10 in the future. Ridiculous.

do not forget all the stuff you can get from the mission you pass with certificates + the facts that the plane come with all camouflages, emblems + nose paint.

So compare to the Beaufighter (for same price) the F5F is a better choice.

The plane for 10 € will come naked.

BUT it's a gopping retro-Russki glamour-tart of the kind I don't want on my aircraft.

Pity, I guess I must be just one of those rare few guys that's attracted to sexy women with a big rack and sexy curves. Oh well, that's my cross to carry.

Block Quote

at least use an image of the WoWP F5F

I would cheerfully have done so, TH - but my DuckDuckGo image search turned up precisely zero WoWP images of the F5F (I know there are other search engines out there, but I wouldn't dream of using any of them) :)

At first glance I didn't even see what exactly it was ... had to zoom in to get the picture. It's THAT small.

But people with better eyesight manage to get offended or aroused by it ... :amazed:

Anyway I'm using it ; 20% crew is not to be sneezed at and pinups in general are historically correct IMHO.
