After taking time out to explore other games only to realize that the modern world of AAA gaming is rubbish I went back to WOT only to realize I suck at tonks and the constant head banging against the wall of default defeats I've come home to concentrate on a game I'm good at 

 

I like planes its less stressful the bots are at least competent team mates and planes hasn't been tinkered with and monetized to death as is the case of WOT,

 

Yes tanks is suffering from the large influx of horribad players due to lockdown and WG's insistence they climb to tier 10 as fast as possible.

 

So Disco has returned not only to fire "real gold" but also to help out the little guys

Especially if he calls them 'competent' which Disco will soon realise he's grossly overcomplemented their abilities ;)

This kind of typifies the WOT experience at the moment, I come away after a session of tanks in a foul mood due to teams 

 

if I was to try and express the sheer idiocy of WOT teams these days. I would get me perma banned from this forum, Giving away tier 10 rentals to people with 8 games is a prime example.

 

Uninstalled that WOT trashish this morning after alt f4-ing in a tier 9 game. 38 games 6 wins. every victory feels like an actual job as I'm having do drag those nincompoops' who can barely work out where WASD keys are let alone even look ata mini map

 

 

Enough of the negative whirlpool that is WOT

 

 

Luckily I'm enlightened and found the secret game that only those who are enlightened in the ways of floaty things can understand 

 

Planes is a game that leaves me feeling fulfilled rather than drained, although this is quiet an old critique

 

 it certainly feels like I'm on the receiving end of this level of cynicism when playing WOT

 

Erm ... I could be mixing things up, but this means no more Paca and Woolfie ??

 

Who are they? 

 And should I watch my disco back 

 

 

Only sadomazohists play WOT.This game has been trampled.I uninstalled 2018.

 

It certainly describes it well 

 

i uninstalled WOT  it this morning after hitting alt f4 the first time I've ever done that!

 

I may dabble now and then as I'm with the dingers clan and they seem to miss me  they're trying to convince me to reinstall 

 

But WOT is probably in the worst state its ever been, its not uncommon to have 13-14 losses in a row as you have tier 8 30 day rental giveaways and tier 6 tanks just for completing the boot camp.

 

You have to carry so hard its like a second job,, its simply exhausting and above all not very fun anymore.

 

Most of the tanks that used to be good have been power crept, and then the ones that power crept those, are power crept, some tanks last a month or two and then, they get superseded by another OP autoloader  or OBJ thing.

 

It really is cynical as they clearly don't care for their customers in game experience t as the south park send up quite aptly pointed out "almost fun, barely fun" its an addiction machine, almost similar to a casino slot machine

 

I feel like with WOT I need to have an encyclopedia to know what armour values x tank has, what map position I need to go to in Meds, or position place in lights its simply not a game anymore its more like doing a part time degree.

 

the problem is many of the WOT community and forum have never taken a significant break

 

What's that saying about a frog being boiled in a pan of water?or some parable, they sometimes seem to lack lack the objectivity of people who return after a long time away and see how drastically WOT has descended from what was once an epoch making game to a clown car noob beer drinking fest .

 

 

And how  totally better planes is by comparison

 

Sure its not perfect I ran into some double GAA flight but at least with planes it tends to be win, lose win, lose, lose, lose win, win, win

 

WOT = lose, lose, lose, lose, lose, lose, lose, lose, win, lose, lose, lose, lose. win, regardless of tier even our 57=58% guys are saying WTH is going on with the floods of utterly inexperienced Dumbo's playing at tier 8-9-10

 

WOT is like a bad girlfriend that treats you like dirt ,you keep getting back together only to realise, why you split in the first place......

 

This is what makes WOWP so friggin awesome,

Which means WG haven't screwed it up to much!

 

Tell everyone you meet planes is rubbish stay away

 

 

Plus planes are way prettier than tanks

In Warplanes it happens to have a team of rookies, especially around tier 4 and 5, against the team of vets. Just try to have fun, as you can't carry those battles.

On high tiers it is really hard to counter specialized bomber, like EF 131, and on mid tier specked Spitfires. One need to adjust ones expectations regarding victory in those situations. 

But in general it is a same as always.

Don't be too confident.  Against a specialised EF 131 handled by somebody with half an idea of what they're doing you'll lose your Sabre before you even scratch it.  Fighters simply cannot compete with these overpowered planes, which is why the preferred method at tiers 9 and 10 is now a bomber/heavy fighter flight.

On X tier the MM is often kicking you in the balls and there is not much you can do on Sabre.

 

People you are underestimating the Sabre. It is one of the better planes to hunt and kill EF 131s. 

I consider myself quite advanced X bomber pilot and Sabre is not a threat. Only skilled HF or multirole even GAA may spoil your game (if you fly low alt).

 

I understand the Sabre very well, it's a favourite plane of mine, but its machine guns simply do not cut it against the rear gunner of a tricked out EF 131.  It may get lucky against somebody just starting out in one or a bot one, but not one flown by somebody who knows what they're doing - the kind most frequently encountered.

BTW SAS soundtrack as its a British plane, I always record live I don't select good games this was pure coincidence that the music also matched what was happening 

 

 

Yes the SAS have their own theme music which probably explains why they are the best special forces unit in the world with a soundtrack of such magnitude it would be impossible not to be the best
