I'm familiar with that kind of sceneries from numerous online games throughout the last 20 years. What you experienced there was just heavy PACKET LOSS.

cheers!

If your ISP isn't able or willing to help you, there's also routers that can help you out to some extent by changing the configuration. Sometimes a proxy server or a VPN service can also help, they take influence on the routes of your data packets. All this however is a science of its own.

The first thing I do when it becomes unbearable is pulling the power cable from my router, wait 5-10 minutes and then restart it. This doesn't always help, but often enough it does.

Can't you simply 'borrow' an internet connection from some neighbors? All you have to do is drill some holes in your walls and run some cables through and the problem should be fixed.

Did Pingplotter point out where the connection was interrupted ??

I also have packet loss occasionally but 99% of the time it's local ; some heavy up- or download on a PC in our local network. Most routers have a 'monitor' where you can check that.

the off-center sight is just another bug, no connection problem.
