Looks interesting - but more for established pilots. I wish I was good enough that this would excite me. Sigh,

 

And, then when I think about established pilots - I wonder if they are really interested in pilots with special skills for medium tier planes.

Can see the Kozhedub requirement causing a lot of frustration, and the 5 HF kills in one battle. Other than those 2 it seems fairly straight forward.

Interesting, but a rather short timeframe to complete the missions for those of us that has a somewhat regular/normal life outside WoWp.

 

Most of the missions are doable by "just playing" but with a pitfall or two here&there IMO:

Russian missions:

Mission 8: kill 5 HF in a single battle. Might require a bit of luck - esp. w. 2 HF on each side, which is usually the case.

Mission 10: Kozhedub (=the old ACE from 1.x). Certainly doable but requires enough time in battle to do so (and several attempts...).

 

Japanese missions:

Mission 2: Rocket kill. Ouch! I'm a goddamn dweeb with rockets. Can barely hit a GT with those things, and now it is expected to be a frigging plane?? Potential showstopper (for me at least).

Mission 3: Flying raider. Can't remember what that is...? Certainly not sth. that's seen a lot on my post-battle screen...

 

The rest are doable. The biggest consideration is the timeframe and - of course - ending up acting like a tryhard in one or more missions.

"Flying Raider Badge" - maximum (5th) level of the Sector Attack personal aircraft-specific mission for multiroles.

Kozhedub medal is medal that happens to me; not the one I actively seek. Five HF in the battle is ouch. Any medal is difficult to achieve, and bring a lot of frustration into the game.

5 Heavy fighters ,  which means :  Enemy aircrafts ? Air defense aircrafts ? Or both ?

It says enemy heavy fighters specifically, which I take to mean that ADAs are excluded.

I remember that 'bundles' were mentioned when it was asked when this marathon would start ... what kind of bundles ?

 

Or are the pilots a bundle ?

Note that you can't skip combat missions during the marathon.

Kozhedub as a requirement is very bad. Most matches don't even reach the squall line. Having to brick your performance to stretch the game out is not fun. See also: Week 4 of the previous event.

yes, I was wrong, looks that bundle will be for buy pilot (s). Not for skip.

by google - No, you can only do it one by one. Only one chain is active. In general, everything looks like marathons on Vampire and XP-55. Only without a pass for tokens.

I don't see why you guys are so intimidated by the requirements. They appear to be nothting but achievable from what I can see. It'll just take a bit of time to grind through it all, but hey - looking at the unique skills of the pilots - it's friggin worth it for sure!

Most of the requirements are not a problem. I use multi-roles a lot and usually get at least one Lambert per session. 5 heavies in one game is a pain, but do-able. Kozhedub is the problem. You can't get it by playing well. Manipulating a battle to give yourself a chance of getting it just isn't practical. You have to roll the dice and hope. I have 774 mission hours and 52 Kozhedubs. That's just short of 1 every 15 hours. Ask us for McCampbells, Marseilles, Aces or even Gabreskis and we can get them by playing well. I know this is to frustrate people into buying the pilots instead, WG's signature, but spoilers like this can FRO.
