Jeepers, that is a stone's throw away from where a penpal used to live.  She's now on the East coast though.

things i like  hmm 

1 / loads better than tanks or war ships  (can't hide)

2/ quick game  loads of fun  when lots of humans playing 

3 /good graphics

4/ free crates 

hate  ???

black screen of death  at start 

warp speed 

zombies 

no marked ground targets 

bullet proof aircraft (air defence)

bots that  never help  even when they say yes 

 bots that ram you  (team  bots)  

bots that ram you  and win even though they are in a smaller aircraft and going slower and have almost no hp left 

bird strikes at  3k meters 

bombers that can out turn a fighter  ?????

map that are way to big for t1234

maps that are to small for the rest 

to little cloud cover  

lack of  ground /sea targets that move 

battle  mm that have 2 tiers diff. for humans  eg  one team t6  other team t8   bad mm  

mm that has to many  human bombers on t10

lack of fighters  that can shoot down bombers  in one pass 

lack of  non usa or russian german bombers 

would love an update that helps with connectivity 

up grade to a win 10  

lack of missiles on all t8/9/10  planes even spitfire had missiles 

cannon fire that  is so slow  that  you cant hit anything  unless you have aim bot 

and never miss bots  (rockets) 

but apart from that great game  even with my rants and chat bans

I think we can all agree that the biggest thing we like about world of warplanes, is that it isn't world of tanks

Due to a weird oversight on my part I managed to complete the DH Vampire mission twice- once last year and again last month. When I went to set it up this time is when I discovered I had 4hrs on it already (Doh!!). I was about to kick the desk when I realised that I had an extra 12,000 gold in my account. WG confirmed that I had indeed been "compensated" for my efforts which is funny.  

 

Could this be some amazing back door to pots of gold? Since I doubt anyone would want to do that mission twice I would say no. 

 

Now I have all that gold itching to be spent so I would ask what is the best t8 plane I  can get for the money?

I think the Twin Mustangs are my current preferences.  My first love was the Seafang, which rarely gets dusted off these days.

I'd also go for the Twin Mustang.

And if you like GA, then the IL-10M, that's the only tier VIII I'd like to have now. Hope they offer it with a discount or something ...

 

OH WAIT! the F-82E and P-82B are not available for gold !!

Thanks all. By process of elimination It has to be the XP-58  or  iL-10M (I have the Horten, Vampire, RB-17, Do 335 A-1 and Seafang)

 

I have to say the scope for GAA is not as good as it once was. The XP-58 was also a force but I dont see many folks flying it now.

 

Have to think about it.

XP-58 is stile force but I just don't find it that much fun to play with. It have great results. 

 

IL 10M is just bad plane. 

 

P 80 is very good once it get specialized. It is bit difficult to play with, as it have narrow shooting scope and lower muzzle velocity, so it is more challenging aiming with him.

I have it on the NA server ; great plane. Very maneuverable and the mg's are very effective.

Come to think of it I've actually never bought any premium tier 8 except the seafang but was put off by the way it looked and also more importantly i was too noob to play tier 8

 

I must say I've never tried the p80 unless I have?

 

But it is a formidable opponent when played by a competent pilot, specialised even more so.

You'd be very familliar, it plays ~Mustang tier 8-ish, / Sabre-ish, that's the general feel.

 

Fully specced and with a Tuskagee guy in there... what's not to like?
