If I go to the folder where the game says all my replays are stored there are just a ton of PDF files which seemingly do nothing...

have you tried to open them with right-click and then 'open with' ?

and do they really have a .pdf extension ? that should be .wowpreplay ...

What you've done, apparently, is associate the file type for WoWP replays with an Adobe PDF product, either writer or reader.  You need to break that association and return it to the WoWP executable.

I would have helped.  Having seen your post elsewhere, I now decline.

Open two explorer windows - the first one with replays folder ["World of Warplanes" folder at the user Videos folder as you post screenshots above], the second one with wowp game folder [e.g. "C:\Games\Wargaming.net\World_of_Warplanes] in which is the file "WorldOfWarplanes.exe". After it drag and drop the selected replay file over the WorldOfWarplanes.exe file [the wowp game need to be closed before it, only one instance can run at time].
