Chaps.
3 questions:
1) Why on gods green earth are there no Clan Battles and it's now 2021?![]()
2) Who are the "known" streamers. And i mean streamers that have no affiliation what-so-ever with WG (on their books) but are respected within the player community. The Flambass of WoWp if you will. Isn't completely toxic, but says it as it is, like a Yorkshireman.
3) Who is the WG PR man in this forum? I would say CC, but they are for all intents and purposes PR guys and on WG books (like in the WOWS forum). I cant seem to find many comments from this person on the forum which is slightly worrying?
The first is quite shocking really and took me by surprise as it is one of the fundamental foundations of any clan and the practical reason for them. To actively get involved with a group competitions and tournaments. If i am right and their isn't any Clan battles, there is one of your golden eggs as to why this game struggles to retain and bring in new players..Massively. I mean that is a huge factor and how has it been over looked for so long by it's players and Devs???
The second is purely due to information and my own learning curve. Being more of Visual learner, streamers are a good source of initial information and what is going on in the game. Some of the Company Gamers guys are asking questions about the game (which is good) and thought if i discord them some streamer information it might get them interested.
However, as a Clan it will be hard to sell if clans are nothing in this game but a name with no actual functionality. Am i right in that you don't have an "airfield" to build up like in the other 2 games? Where Clan members can receive bonuses by joining a clan, again that is a incentive to get involved with one.
My two conclusions is that WG either don't have the man power to spare on this game to "sort it out and maintain" or there are a serious lack of players it wouldn't warrant doing in the first place. Both are pretty damning reasons IMHO.
Have you had anything official from WG on their stance on Clan Battles? The question MUST have been asked by someone within the last 7 years surly. Clan battles are one of the retaining player factors in any game, not only does it help the players, it also makes great business sense so I cant for the life of my think why WG would do it?
Is there anything you can do as a clan that involves more than 2 players in any one game? because if there is, i cant find any information on it.

1) Major development of the game ceased some time after May 2019. There is an interview from last year with WG's CEO, Victor Kislyi, that confirmed the game was being kept going for "diehards" only and that the WoWP team had been "streamlined and optimised" (make of that what you will). That said, there is some activity in the game so far as events and a little bit of new content is concerned; it's not entirely moribund. However, we are light years away from any provision for clan activities. It never figured in the WoWP's team plans even when there was major development work.
2) (Apologies if some of these names are slightly wrong). Angry_Chilli (though he is like marmite, some like him, some loathe him. German/English, in that order). Postal_Monkey. Awesome_Pete. Frantiszek (Polish only). HonorabiliOG. There are many smaller streamers, often just starting the game. Those are the established ones I see most often. There are probably others.
3) Blindfold, who can kill the Witch-King of Angmar. Community relations were severely curtailed after the departure of Eekeeboo to World Of Tanks a couple of years ago. At the same time the then community contributors were cut adrift and I believe all have ceased playing the game. There is apparently a path to being a community contributor, but from memory the requirements in terms of content and particularly audience are so great that nobody has tried to be one for a long time, at least in the English speaking world.
