Are Tier 2 premiums worth keeping?

paradigmshift's Photo paradigmshift 07 Apr 2021

Since I limit myself to t3 as the lowest place to battle and then only Wirraway and Blenhiem IV(e.) is it worth keeping the Tier 2 premium plane that I have gained via the Daily mission or other grinds? I sold the Ki-5 last week to get a free hanger space and then got it back in last weeks mission crate. Cannot think of a good reason..

Keep all of them.

If you sell them they will keep popping up as awards preventing you to be given some others.

That makes sense but a free hanger space is worth 300 gold or 18 tokens. These planes do nothing

They can act as barrack spaces for pilots.

Also true, and a good idea but I tend to take good pilots up to the next level and do not get the free ones to use up space.

Just make sure you don't get rid of the planes that are not in tech tree. Some are rare, you either get them from crates or have to buy them in Premium Shop, when they appear there (every couple months). That is, of course, only if you intend to collect planes. If you don't, there is no point in keeping t2 premiums (both money and xp earned with them are meagre compared to higher tier premiums) other than 'fun' value of flying biplanes.

Time was i might have had an interest in collecting these planes but not anymore. I kept the Ha 123 and the US mono. sold the rest. Biplanes are fun. shame there is nothing earlier, Camel, Spad,DH7 etc

If I remember right, the time span covered in the game was said by the devs to be 1927-1953 - so no, no chance for the Sopwiths. However, there is a Bleriot-SPAD (S.510) in there :)
