The best all round plane in the north atlantic. Used in all theaters of war, from when it was launched as a bomber to evolution to heavy fighter slash ground attacker, spotter and spyplane. Few other planes was so successful and versatible. Still, in this game its one of the worst tier 6 planes.

It is just not right, the Goose is so much better. The Ki and Me 410 too. its like Mossie is just a mediocre plane. not fast, not imble, not heavy armed and average hp.

Especially in  noth atlantic, it was the fastest and deadliest plane, unless in dogfights. Germans feared it and wanted to copy it. Who would guess in this game.

I found a workaround in just keeping the Hornet and pretending it's a Mossie

It's a regression from the Beaufighter and gets even worse with the Hornet before becoming fun again at T8.

 

I agree because the Mosquito is a very iconic WW2 warbird obviously but tbh the new XP-54 has pretty much screwed all the historical gems and sadly I've since sold the gorgeous P-38J.

 

It's just criminal to give a non-historical experimental scrapped program with no significance such air superioriority over any of the historical icons but maybe that's just my opinion. I like seeing the iconic aircraft during battles and fighting with and against them, not these bs aircraft that never had any impact in world wars or other major conflicts. Fine, add them for more content, but never to the point that their performance and air superiority replaces the iconic aircraft which were the reason many downloaded this game to begin with. Did I download this game to play and XP-54? Nope, never even heard of it nor cared and still don't care. Remove it and I'll even care less. 

 

I stopped playing T5 that was my main fun as it had many WW2 era airframe... Just because I don't like to be blast from the sky with that fake aircraft.

 

I think it the wake up call for the end game just as in WoT will all the shir fake premium tank.

 

And FYI i have a lot of premium aircraft but real ones.

Agree, the Goose should have been a T7 instead of T6. That would be fair. Facing both T8 and T6.

I have that one too, don't play it, I'm a gentleman. Just like the man who knows how to play the accordion but chooses not to is a gentleman.

What I like about the Goose is the shiny badge you get for completing the missions!

 

What's all that fuzz about the Goose anyway? I only have problems with them if there are two specced ones in the enemy team, along with another specced HF, while my own team has nothing alike. But then it could be any other type of plane. In the end it's just like all those Vampires or Spits. If the player is crap and has no clue about equipment tuning he won't cause too much trouble.

The Goose lacks bombs so flying it might be problematic on a map with mining plants. But that's just my oppinion.

For me lacking the ordnance is a blessing in disguise. At least I'm not tempted to bother with ground targets, so I can focus on enemy planes, making fewer mistakes in the process.

Well I do have it along with the XP55 and Vampire.

I wish they had done one for the F5F and the YAK7 M82 as well.

I see people have got them for Horten and and a few others.

I have it too, but it doesn't on your profile page, only in-game under achivements ;
