Do all the Russian higher LF's get a gun slot or just the MiG's? Kinda thinking I might also add the slower lower alt turny fighter to my collection too for a contrast of playstyles. :great:

Only the 2 Migs and the Yak-9U and Su-9 ... The Yak-19 and 30 get an extra airframe slot.

The Yak's can be pimped into the most turny fighters of T8-T10?(Just glancing at base stats).

I still have some free premium time(won another 3 days yesterday)) and some XP buffs so even without some weekend special could see myself at least working my way up to the T8 Yak, possibly T9 before I take a break. Also, what's the general feeling in regards the best overall T9 and T10 LF package? I saw plenty of German LF's in higher tier battles during my MiG grind but they were... "ok" in regards their battle results rather than being notably outstanding, but of course it also depends who's flying them so was probably misleading, maybe they were just bad players. Plenty of Yaks too come to think of it and wow where they a real thorn in my side with that impressive rate of turn. Sure, I had the speed with the MiG's but these Yaks are darting around so fast I couldn't reliably rinse them enough in one pass to take them out, especially as they rolled and turned aggressively like they should. Matador vs the bull sort of thing, and always the Matador should win if he is good at what he does so was better not to pick a fight with a full hp Yak that was not distracted or fighting another player. I was more impressed with the Yak at a glance, regardless of their altitude limitations but maybe this was just because the MiG could counter the German LF's better whereas the Yak could counter both the MiG and German better in low alt dogfights which can always manifest during sector takes regardless of trying to play to a fighters strength so maybe the Yak's dogfighting prowess was more of a flattering illusion.

Yep.

My Yak-19 and -30 are 99 and 100 resp. And that only with advanced equipment.

Only my Ki-162-I comes close and that's with ultimate Japanese special project stuff.
