Obviously adding screenshots/artwork so we can see what we might be buying would be completely unnecessary and would not drive sales in any way shape or form.

Consistency (such as adding the screenshots on the game webpage - like it was done for the T10 bombers) would also show weakness and might help clear the confusion - god forbid!

:) I do appreciate your swift reply however, thanks.

Ok I am back. I've checked the premium shop and I require clarifications

-- DO THESE PAINT SCHEMES INCLUDE THE EPIC NOSE PAINT JOBS AS WELL? -> really really important.

Which nose art? These bundles include only paint schemes, all the paint schemes look exactly like on the screenshots.

The BF109B and E skins actually look very nice, but these aren't planes that I use that often.

And, of course WG had to drive cost up by adding 1000 gold :sceptic:

Credit where credit is due, 10/10 for using the sales of harmless cosmetic items to generate money instead of taking the over-powered premium aircraft route(again).

The price is also excellent to be fair and what's better, they're also being sold individually as an option instead of only being offered as a complete package.

If you the math, 1k gold costs €4.25 while each bundle that includes an aircraft camo scheme plus 1k gold costs €4.27 so that's practically a free camo of your choice just for buying 1k gold. Obviously you might not want or need the gold but still, if it was one of my favorite aircraft I enjoy to play a lot and I didn't need gold I'd still make the purchase just for the camo scheme and certainly wouldn't lose sleep over spending what probably wouldn't even purchase a pint of beer.

As it happens I actually do like to play the historical 109 B and E but unfortunately my own personal taste does not like this particular tiger stripe style lineup, just not for me and I would prefer something else, probably historical or less flashy but I'm sure a lot of players will love some of these camo schemes and I hope there's far more going to be added to the game in the future.

The gold is OK, but if you don't need it, then don't buy it for the camo ... it's only 5% exp. I've got them all from a previous gold combo deal and never use them. I prefer the seasonal camos that give protection.

It would be nice if they offered some other historical skins in stead of these gaudy ones.

Well I think the main reason a player is supposed to buy them is just for their unique aesthetical look and not the bonus attached to them.

That said, I agree that the +5% XP is probably a poor choice by the devs for a bonus perk since that generally isn't something that's leaned on much with a non-premium aircraft. What I'd have personally loved(and think most players would have) would have been the typical seasonal camo bonuses instead, which is +20% concealment, +10% AA dmg tolerance and +5% Gunner dmg tolerance. It would just make far more sense for a tech-tree aircraft being played almost exclusively for the aircraft and some missions or events, not so much ever for training crew or anything else so the performance enhancing type of perks is always better for a tech tree imo such as those mentioned or even +3% cruise speed. +5% XP is really more suitable for a premium aircraft for training crew faster along with its preset +20% crew training and free pilot transfer ability, not a tech tree tbh.

First, let me say that I think these are the kinds of things that Wargaming should be selling and not gambling boxes.  Unfortunately the latter are also in the shop.

Secondly, all these camouflages offer, as stated by previous posters, 5% aircraft experience as a bonus.  Once you have checked 'accelerate crew training' that becomes crew experience.

Going left to right for each row, starting with the top row:

  1. Bf 109 E
  2. Il-2
  3. I-16(l.)
  4. Bf 109 B
  5. Bf 109 G
  6. IL-2 mod.
  7. IL-8
  8. P-36
  9. P-40
  10. IL-10
